Lover in the Mirror

One popular ritual in learning to love yourself is looking in the mirror and saying, "I love you!"

This may result in laughter or tears depending on where your level of self-esteem.

Don't rush the process. Forcing a relationship will only build resistance, even if the relationship is with yourself.

Gaze in the mirror and find what you love the most. Do you have pretty eyes? Full thick hair? High cheekbones? Or a Charming smile?

Pick one thing and focus on that. Allow your vision and heart to soften. You will soon see past the surface appearance and into your amazing soul.

If your Beloved were having a confidence crisis, would you not make the effort to assure them they are loved?

You deserve no less. As you love yourself you glow and become more attractive to those around you. And your new higher vibration will attract the resources to create the life of your dreams.

It all works together like magic. Because it is magic. ~Silas

Three Things to Remember

As you move down the path of life, you will find that there are three elements involved in the journey. It was planned (with your permission) to be this way.

The first element is your life’s purpose. This is the map that guides you in a general direction. You have a choice of roads to take, but they all lead to the same place, unless you turn from your purpose. As your purpose was your choice, you will find your life more difficult when you do this.

Your clever, magnificent soul, will find creative and powerful ways to bring you back to your purpose, most of which you will not find pleasant, so best to stay on track.

The second element is work. Work is the walking. You can decide to take a steeper, winding path and work harder, or a smooth, level, straight path that will require less effort, but whichever you choose, work is necessary. This may come to you as study, dedication or a day job that will give you the resources to achieve your goal. Ideally, your path or goal will become your job, but you may have some learning to do along the way. Learning and study make the experience of your life’s work more meaningful and easy.

Your soul may have decided to challenge you a bit before you reach this point. Trust it. When your soul made these plans for this incarnation, it had a really good vantage point.

The third element is pleasure. These are the flowers and trees along the path. The sweet forest creatures that land on your shoulder or nuzzle against you. Life is not meant to be suffering. Those with lots of money can suffer, those with few possessions can feel joy and appreciation and a love for life. How much you experience these little (and big) joys is up to you.

To stay in balance, all three elements are necessary. Life becomes stressful and unbalanced when one of them is focused on to the exclusion of the others.

For example, you focus only on your life’s purpose and do not allow yourself to rest or have fun. You will get there, but life will always be a struggle.

You can focus only on work and feel empty inside because your life has no meaning and you are not headed in a purposeful direction.

You can get lost in play and fun and become addicted to the experience, again due to the emptiness of a life without direction.

Fortunately, the remedy is as easy as, just stopping destructive behavior and seeking balance. Your guides and angels (and we of the Fae kingdom) want you to have success. Just ask, and we will help you find your balance.

All work and no play (or the opposite) negates your purpose for being on this beautiful planet. Find your balance and you will find your bliss. ~Silas

You've Got the Manifesting Blues

If you are struggling with your manifestations, it would probably trouble you to hear, that the Divine provides you with everything that you ask for.

Before you begin to swear, let us explain.

The Divine is always standing ready to grant your requests. All of them, without fail. It is you who actually deny them.

Sometimes your focus may not be strong enough. You don't want the "thing" that badly.

Sometimes, your ego convinces you that you want things that you cannot handle or would bring you more grief.

Your soul knows what you need in this life.  Surprisingly, your soul's needs are few, but as this life is meant to be fun, you are granted certain luxuries.

If something is truly not good for you, you will have trouble focusing on it. You will feel doubt and fear. You will hesitate. If you continue, you will get it, but it might not be what you want.

No, we are not playing psychological games with you. You play them with yourself. We often wonder why, but find it amusing to watch, unless you hurt yourself.

There is no difference between that which you must do in this life and that which you desire. You will always be granted the time, talents and resources to accomplish your life's purpose.

If you want to know what you truly desire, then follow your passion. Play chase with it. Dance with it. Get to know and love it. Then bring it to life. You already have all that you need to accomplish this.

Do not work so hard on your manifestation attempts, work instead on your passion. That will lead you where you need to go.

And that is where you will find all that you are seeking now. ~Silas

Parting is Such Sweet Freedom

Sometimes, it is necessary for people to part company.

It might feel easier to maintain the status quo, but sometimes, it is in the best interest of both parties to separate.

It  is not always that one party is good or bad, the energy is just not compatible. To hold on traps both parties in a place where they cannot move forward.

It creates an energy that if not addressed and eliminated, becomes stagnant.

Like leftover food stored in the back of the refrigerator, what was once a gourmet meal, has lost its flavor and begun to decay.

Sometimes one party is ready to let go and the other refuses to move on. Letting go will always bring the best results.

A clean break can allow, if desired, the parties to come together at a later time when growth and healing has occurred.

An incomplete break (one or both parties are holding on), will prevent both parties from moving forward.

You can make this clean and complete break without the other party’s consent. You have the right to move forward and live your life as you choose.

You should consciously do this whenever you feel strong emotions surrounding a breakup or ending of a friendship or business relationship.

A simple meditation, a letter or cord-cutting ritual can release this energy.

Forgiveness is also important. Ask to see the soul of the other person.

You might be surprised. A mean bully can be hiding a tiny fearful being that needs to feel loved and safe.

You can send love to the spirit without reattaching to the person. They then have the option of accepting it so they can move forward, or dismissing it and staying where they are.

You, however, will be free to move forward having cut the cord that was bound to your ankle.

Like an elephant who thinks he cannot escape even though he is only tied to a small wooden stake, they may not realize they have the power to move forward.

Taking yourself out of the equation, forces them to deal with what they, alone, have created.

What another person does to you, whether it be good or bad, is about them, and who they are.

Don’t take it personally. Unforgiveness is not worth the price to your soul.

Let go, move on and be brilliant. You have the power.

Turn, Turn, Turn

It is a common mistake to believe that the expression, “Turn the other cheek”, represents an act of weakness or acceptance.

It is in fact, an act of strength.

It takes a strong person to look beyond the ego and recognize the frightened soul inside that the ego is protecting.

An act of revenge serves no one.  It tells the other that their ego was correct in its judgment and that their beliefs about you were true.

A stronger act is not to act. Inaction, that comes from a place of love, is more powerful than action that comes from fear.

Those who would judge based on the fearful act that they can see or the fear-filled words they hear, will be revealed for who they really are.

Those with the best and most loving eyes can see through the fear and vengeance and recognize the loving act of inaction.

If those around you are moved to act from fear and vengeance, be moved from your heart and be still in a place of love.

In the end, the peace and love you create will return to you multiplied. ~Silas

You Will Survive

You often feel pain, not because you are weak, but because you are brave.

You are an able-bodied (and minded) soul who has come to Earth to work and learn.  This is a noble pursuit. You are a fine scholar and a powerful warrior on a level that you cannot fully appreciate.

The problem is, the pain.  When it hits, you tell yourself it is because you are weak and unworthy of feeling pleasure.

You are a soldier fighting a battle with gaping, bloody wounds telling yourself, “Stop whining, don’t be a baby. You can do better.”

It is because you are powerful that you are able to talk yourself into the belief that you are weak. Then you let others talk you into it as well.

It is not uncommon for a powerful, experienced soul to be laid low by a less experienced one.

The less experienced soul sometimes creates a powerful ego personality to protect it. It attacks and takes advantage of others because it is fearful of pain.

It is so fearful, in some cases, that it thinks a little pain will kill it.

Like a bird that puffs up its feathers to look larger and put on an intimidating display so as to scare away those that might hurt it, this frightened soul, makes itself appear larger than life to avoid real pain.

If you encounter a soul such as this, look beyond the outer ego’s display. Know that it is just an act, a defense from attack for a young, inexperienced soul that is trying to learn just as you are.

Send love to the soul. Forgive it for any harm you have felt, but do not engage the ego or try to play its game.

You will never win. The best strategy is not to play.

Remember that even if you have played and lost, the pain you feel reflects your strength and courage. You can choose to have only easy lessons, but sometimes a lesson learned through pain can be a quick and powerful way to move forward along your path.

You know you will survive. The immature soul is still learning that.

Be patient, be brave, learn your lessons and don’t repeat the mistakes. The pain gets less each time and recovery is quicker.

Do not envy the one who harmed you. You would not want to walk their path.

Why should you. You’ve already been there. ~Silas
