Replacing Fear with Adventure

You are so quick to place fear upon a situation that you have never encountered.

You might be starting a new job, or looking for one. You might be meeting someone new or going somewhere you've never been.

Rather than anticipating the next great disaster in your life, what if you changed your attitude?
Instead of seeing yourself as a potential victim, imagine that you are a great explorer or adventurer.
"What will this new day bring? What will I learn? What profound, life-changing, spiritual truths will I uncover this day?"

Go about each new day and new experience as though you are leaving to go on a vacation trip.

What goes right, will bring you pleasant memories and joy, what goes wrong, will teach you valuable lessons and give you funny anecdotes to tell.

Your human tendency is to fear the unknown. This causes you to fear things such as success, power, money and love.

You try to attract these things while surrounded by your fears and often have less than stellar results.

Visualize yourself as having what you wish for and looking back and remembering that you just had to approach it with a sense of wonder and a dash of daring.

Know that this vision is very real and waiting for you.
If you want to get to this destination, you need to buy a ticket and board the plane. If you've never traveled by plane before, then enjoy the ride. ~Silas
