Three Things to Remember

As you move down the path of life, you will find that there are three elements involved in the journey. It was planned (with your permission) to be this way.

The first element is your life’s purpose. This is the map that guides you in a general direction. You have a choice of roads to take, but they all lead to the same place, unless you turn from your purpose. As your purpose was your choice, you will find your life more difficult when you do this.

Your clever, magnificent soul, will find creative and powerful ways to bring you back to your purpose, most of which you will not find pleasant, so best to stay on track.

The second element is work. Work is the walking. You can decide to take a steeper, winding path and work harder, or a smooth, level, straight path that will require less effort, but whichever you choose, work is necessary. This may come to you as study, dedication or a day job that will give you the resources to achieve your goal. Ideally, your path or goal will become your job, but you may have some learning to do along the way. Learning and study make the experience of your life’s work more meaningful and easy.

Your soul may have decided to challenge you a bit before you reach this point. Trust it. When your soul made these plans for this incarnation, it had a really good vantage point.

The third element is pleasure. These are the flowers and trees along the path. The sweet forest creatures that land on your shoulder or nuzzle against you. Life is not meant to be suffering. Those with lots of money can suffer, those with few possessions can feel joy and appreciation and a love for life. How much you experience these little (and big) joys is up to you.

To stay in balance, all three elements are necessary. Life becomes stressful and unbalanced when one of them is focused on to the exclusion of the others.

For example, you focus only on your life’s purpose and do not allow yourself to rest or have fun. You will get there, but life will always be a struggle.

You can focus only on work and feel empty inside because your life has no meaning and you are not headed in a purposeful direction.

You can get lost in play and fun and become addicted to the experience, again due to the emptiness of a life without direction.

Fortunately, the remedy is as easy as, just stopping destructive behavior and seeking balance. Your guides and angels (and we of the Fae kingdom) want you to have success. Just ask, and we will help you find your balance.

All work and no play (or the opposite) negates your purpose for being on this beautiful planet. Find your balance and you will find your bliss. ~Silas
