I Want That......

So, your bills are mounting, your weight is not ideal and your career is floundering?

You tell the Divine, "I need more money, I want a better car, I must have the love of my life and very soon."

So, the Divine has given you all that and you still complain?

In order to do affirmation work effectively, you must understand the language of affirmations.

Every affirmation has two parts. The part that is written or spoken and the part that quietly precedes it.

When you make a request of the Universe, the Universe goes into its "wish granting mode."

Like a giant computer program, it prepares itself to receive the command you are about to give it. In a time before time, you helped to create it this way.

It works like this:

You open the "Grant my wish" program. Click on the button that says, "Make a request." A window will open and you will see three words: I want that_______________.

Type in your request and hit "Send."

If you believe you have done this without a good result, then think about how those three words affect the meaning of your request.

This is the reason it is important to word your affirmations as though they have already happened.

You are not lying or pretending when you say, "I have enough money to pay all my bills and a surplus to spend for recreation" you are being very precise in your request and asking for exactly what you want.

If you say, "I want that.....I need more money." The Universe instantly grants your request. A need for more money. In fact, the Universe is so efficient, it will probably create more expenses and unpleasant financial surprises that will positively guarantee you a "need for money."

The fact that you become frustrated with the Universe over your affirmations is more proof that they work.

You see, the program is always running. Every time you say, "I want, I need, or I desire," the Universe is listening and responding.

If more of your words and thoughts say, "I want" then more "want" is what you shall have. The Universe will make  you more frustrated about not achieving your goals because that is what you have requested.

You are a powerful and amazing creator. Perhaps you should use your power now to create something you really want. It is just our suggestion. ~Silas

Temporary Burden, Permanent Blessing

There was a time on this planet, when all people were considered equal. It does not exist in your recorded history, because you history has been written by those who defeated individuals of lesser strength and influence.

Those weaker ones are like a person who has broken their leg.

The condition is temporary, and  with help, that person can heal and be a contributing member of society.

The leg is immobilized, the person is given assistance in obtaining food and helped to get around as needed. This is done because all are aware that the leg will heal and the person will again be able to care for himself and help others in the group.

A temporary condition of powerlessness when addressed with compassion, can help the person to get back on their feet.

Helping out the less fortunate can get tiresome, and you sometimes reach a point where you say, "Enough is enough!"

You withdraw help, breaking the cast, forcing the person to find whatever food they can get.

You rationalize that they are not doing their part and so it is morally right for you to cut off all assistance.

The person desperately tries to walk on a badly healed leg and does more harm to themselves.

The injury worsens and becomes a permanent condition of disablement.

Now, the person has truly become a burden to the group.  Your prophecy has become self-fulfilled.

Yet, what if you let the person heal; demonstrated compassion without resentment. What if the person completely healed and from the experience, not only regained full strength, but a new found compassion for others.

He has become even better than he was for having been broken.

He returns as a equal, contributing member of the group and has more experience and gifts to share.

What if every time, instead of marginalizing a group to separate yourself from those who are "weaker," you help them to become healed and strong.

Then, your self-fulfilling prophecy will create allies and partners instead of burdens.

But then, perhaps, your world is already in such a perfect state that you have no need to do this.

Yes, we have made a joke. We hope you find it funny, and educational. ~Silas

Loving All of Your Selves

Life becomes sheer joy when you learn to love who you are.

You wake up in the morning, unburdened by insecurities and fear, and jump into life with both feet.

You cannot do this, however, if you do not learn to love who you were.

You must learn to accept that  frightened, unsuccessful, long-suffering individual you used to be.

It was that person, who took a big gamble, faced her fears head on, gathered every bit of power he had (which was not much at the time) and transformed failure and pain into survival and success.

Whom would you respect more, a billionaire who spends $1000 dollars on an idea, or a working class man or woman who scrapes together every cent they have, perhaps skipping meals and walking around in old clothes to come up with the money to finance their dream.

If both are successful, would you not think more of the hard worker than the one who merely writes the check?

They may, actually, be the same person.

The billionaire might not exist had the poor person not taken a chance when they had very little to work with.

The worker is the parent, the hero, the one who took a chance and made the tough choices.

It would be illogical for the pauper to hate his future billionaire self. Yet, you often send your disgust and anger back to your former self, the one who has so little to begin with.

Instead of rejecting who you were, send love to that brave soul. Fall in love with the one who refused to give up.

Thank your future self for the success that has brought you security and peace of mind, but do not fail to send gratitude to your past self who worked tirelessly, (and from your future self's perspective, still does) to change your life for the better.

Do this daily, and you will see your life getting better on all levels. We promise you. ~Silas

Have You Fed Your Dream Today?

Be ready! Life happens in a messy disorganized way, and fast!

All of those things you wanted to do someday? Someday had arrived! Are you ready?

Think of something you want to achieve, something you have wanted for the last ten years or so but have not manifested.

How much effort have you put into it daily?

Did you want to sell your art online? How much drawing have you done each day?

Did you dream of writing a novel? How many words did you type each day?

Did you want to be thin? How many minutes per day of exercise did you do?

Imagine where you would be right now if you had worked a bit at these things each day.

Now here, do not beat yourself up. It is in your human nature to wait for the perfect circumstances to begin.

Thank your past for the lesson and pick up your pen, your brush, your camera or whatever moves you to create something in your 3D existence.

Do not try to accomplish it all in one night, but do enough to make some headway and stop while you still feel inspired to keep moving.

You exist on this Earth because you wanted to do or create something. We assure you that this is so. There are no accidents of birth.

If the weather is good, take in the sunshine and get moving. If the weather is bad, cocoon yourself inside and create.

Today is always the perfect day to start. ~Silas
