Remembering What Nature Feels Like

Too many of you have gotten yourselves off track.  You then attempt to keep yourselves there through overstimulation.

When you stop, your body tries to balance itself, usually with sleep. As you cannot sleep during the work day, you must then overstimulate more with caffeinated beverages and sweet foods.

You continually do this to yourself for decades, and teach your children the same habits, so that your children learn also to fuel their bodies with caffeine, sugar, electronic devices and screen time.

You force your bodies to conform to an unnatural condition. Then you cry out when your bodies attack you. This “attack” (sickness, headache, fatigue) is an attempt to bring about a state of balance.

You can help your body do this by cutting down and eliminating things that over-stimulate. A better diet, more rest, exercise, spending time in quiet places, and outdoors can assist your body as it tries to balance itself.

Can’t do it? “Gotta have my coffee! Need that sugar fix! Outdoors? Bugs, dirt, sunlight….ahhhhh, I’m melting!”

You don’t have to give up all of the things you enjoy, just try to reach a point where it is you who are controlling the substance or situation: “I think I’d like some coffee this morning vs. Fill my mug and get out of the way!” When you’ve reached the latter stage, you are not receiving pleasure from the beverage, just feeding your need.

There is a lovely, pleasant experience in that perfect cup of coffee or the mellow, warm feeling from an occasional alcoholic beverage.  There is that fun, giddy feeling of watching a favorite television show or the heart-filling moment when you connect meaningfully with a friend or loved on the phone.

Do it enough to enjoy it. Back off when enjoyment becomes need.

A body, mind and spirit in balance can experience many amazing sensations. You will find more joy in daily experiences when you stop needing and start appreciating. ~Silas

Before You Give Up

What is the ultimate goal you are striving for?

Have you tried other ways, or ideas?

Have you made progress?

Is there something you’d rather do?

Is it fun? Does the thought of it bring you pleasure?

How do you really feel about it?

How do you feel about giving up?

Sometimes you listen to the world and not your heart.  There may be other ways to manifest your desire.

Stop a minute and think about what you really want. How would it feel if you had it? How could you feel that way right now?

Feel that feeling and all will become clear. You may be on the right track. Before you abandon the journey, be sure that you are on the right train. ~Silas

Stopping the Spread

If you were a scientist trying to stop the spread of a contagious disease, you would, most likely follow three important steps:

First:  isolate- Find out what areas are affected and begin quarantine protocols.

Second: determine the cause- Look at it, study it, note how it spreads. Find the organism that is responsible.

Third: treat- Once the guilty organism is found, treatment can begin in the form of vaccine or antidote.

The first two steps are the hardest.  It is the same with discomfort, stress, or disease in  your body, thoughts and emotions.

First: isolate- What is happening? Depression? Anger? Relationship issues? Aches and pains? What part of your physical body is affected?

Second: determine the cause-  When did you feel this before? Childhood? Past life? During a relationship that no longer exists? Did something traumatic happen that brought it on?

Third: treatment- This is up to you. You are the doctor. What feels right? Affirmations? Cleansing ritual? Creative visualization? Pharmaceuticals? A trip to the doctor or counselor? Ask, then sit quietly and listen. The answer will come to you, always.

No one can tell you what is right for you.  You will know it and be drawn to it. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise, and never give up.  We want you to heal. We are counting on you. ~Silas

Forgive and Fly

Forgiving those who have hurt you can be a difficult process, yet failure to forgive holds no one imprisoned but you.

Always look for the gift.

Did someone hold you back? Think of a rubber band being pulled back tighter and tighter until it must be released and then its contents (you) are propelled forward at tremendous speed. This rapid growth would have taken much longer had you not first been held back.

Did someone break your heart? Like a bone that is set improperly, sometimes a heart must be re-broken so that it can be set correctly and heal completely. Only then can you find real love.

Did someone steal from you?  Then you most likely learned the value of what you have.  Give thanks for all of your blessings, and more will come to you.

Did someone insult you?  How wonderful that they have spoken to you what is not true.  How lovely it is that their words and actions push you towards people who have more compassionate and loving hearts.
Pain always brings a gift if you have the courage to look for it.

Remember, in forgiveness, you are not condoning the behavior, you are rising above it and freeing yourself from it.

You cannot hope to fly when your ankles are shackled . Forgive, let go, and take off! Your glorious future awaits!  ~Silas

This Shall Pass

When you feel all of the world closing in around you; when your stress level reaches its upper limit, stop and breathe.

Be  grateful for your life.  Be grateful for all of your blessings big and small. Food, shelter, family, the air in your lungs…….all of the things you have forgotten to appreciate. Feel abundant.

Think back. Remember a time that you felt this stressed before.  You survived!  You are still going!  When this stress has passed, you will still be here.  Feel peace.

The lack you feel pales in comparison to all that you have in your life.

Your fears are much worse in your head than anything you are likely to manifest, although, they might delay the manifestation of your dreams.

Stop, breathe, center yourself, and do your best in whatever situation you might be facing.

Very soon, you will look back and wonder, “What was I so afraid of?” ~Silas
