A Bump on the Path

When you hit a bumpy patch on your path, do not give up.

Running into a problem does not mean that you should abandon the journey, but there is usually a reason.

Ask yourself three questions:

How might I be creating or contributing to this?

Human stubbornness can be a powerful thing if directed towards a goal. If it is allowed to stand between you and your goal, it is equally powerful. The invisible enemy to which you cry, "Foul," might just be you.

What lesson is there to be learned?

A difficult situation can bring about great knowledge and healing of old wounds. Ask your guides for the vision to see the situation for what it is so that you can learn and get on to better things. This is what they are waiting beside you, wringing their hands and shaking their heads for. They want to help you. Let them.

What is the best solution to the problem?

Ahhhhh! Now that you have acknowledged your guides, they are ready with plans and blueprints that will help you come up with a fast and positive solution. After you ask, be sure to listen and follow the guidance you are given.

No situation is hopeless and there is always a short cut back to the right path. You just have to stop and ask for directions. ~Silas
