Ask and Trust

Imagine you have a very special housekeeper.

She works for free and only wants to make you happy. Her references are impeccable and you have seen great examples of her work at your friend's homes.

Now she works for you.

You give her your cleaning requests and tell her she may begin working.

Hours later you return and nothing has been done.

You moan and complain, "She is willing to work for everyone but me! Why am I so unlucky?"

Finally, after hours of pouting, you decide to talk to her. You go to the closet, in which you have locked her, and ask her why she hasn't cleaned the house.

Hmmmmmmm.  Do you now see the problem?

This is an efficient, competent employee who wants to give you what you want, and you told her to stop before she could even begin working.

"Ridiculous!"You say? "I would never do that!"

Have you ever told the Universe that you want money, then started to form a plan on how that would happen? The Universe listens to your thoughts as well as spoken and written words and cannot tell the difference.

Trust your housekeeper. Ask for what you want. Specify how you want to feel when you get it, then let go and allow her to do her work.

You may find that you get something even better than you ever could have imagined. ~Silas
