It is a good thing to survive a disaster or difficult
situation, but to label yourself as a "survivor" is a huge burden to
carry.
To be a lifetime "survivor" invites disasters into
your life.
Of course it does! As a "survivor" disasters are
what you do. They are your life's work.
To survive is good. To life a life in survival mode is
exhausting and unnecessary.
Strive to be a "thriver."
If you survived a terrible sickness, then thrive in perfect
health.
If you survived poverty, then thrive in prosperity and
abundance.
Difficult situations are lessons. Once the lesson is
learned, there is no need to repeat it.
Survive, learn, release and thrive, then maybe the next
lesson will be fun and easy. ~Silas
