Not everything makes sense the first time.
You might hear of a new self-help technique, a new way of
creating something new or organizing your life so that it will work better.
Nothing you ever experience is ever lost. Your brain may not
acknowledge it at first, but when it is needed, all will make sense.
You may buy a book and read one chapter before putting it
away.
A year later, you hear an idea that sounds amazing. Something you would like to incorporate into
your life.
Then, you remember that you’ve heard this information
before. You pick up that dusty book you bought a year ago and read it from
cover to cover.
Now it makes sense. You just weren’t ready for it the first
time. The presentation may not have appealed to you, until you looked at it in
a different way, perhaps from a different angle.
You might glance at a picture on your computer, then navigate
to another page.
Later you come back, having forgotten about it and suddenly,
you take a good look.
This time you see interesting details and get certain
feelings when you look at it.
You might even discover that it was taken by a photographer,
or drawn by an artist you admire.
It might inspire you to do something you hadn’t thought of
before.
Never toss any new knowledge as useless. It might just not be useful to you yet.
You might just need to look at it again, from a different
angle.
