Lover in the Mirror

One popular ritual in learning to love yourself is looking in the mirror and saying, "I love you!"

This may result in laughter or tears depending on where your level of self-esteem.

Don't rush the process. Forcing a relationship will only build resistance, even if the relationship is with yourself.

Gaze in the mirror and find what you love the most. Do you have pretty eyes? Full thick hair? High cheekbones? Or a Charming smile?

Pick one thing and focus on that. Allow your vision and heart to soften. You will soon see past the surface appearance and into your amazing soul.

If your Beloved were having a confidence crisis, would you not make the effort to assure them they are loved?

You deserve no less. As you love yourself you glow and become more attractive to those around you. And your new higher vibration will attract the resources to create the life of your dreams.

It all works together like magic. Because it is magic. ~Silas

Move the Body to Quiet the Mind; Quiet the Body to Move the Mind

Some days you find yourself completely overwhelmed. Your mind is racing but thoughts are coming too quickly to make use of them and worries and fears are creeping in to add to the stress.

When your mind is racing and needs to quiet down, move your body. Take a walk, dance, pace, exercise or just stand up and stretch. You must use your mind to decide what your body will do. Focusing on the task of the movement will automatically quiet the mind.

When you are stuck and cannot figure out how to move forward, it is time to quiet the body. Sit in a chair, on a pillow, or lie down. Breathe deeply, and let your mind wander.

You can ask a question or request a direction. Then let go and see what happens.

You may get a direct answer, or just feel calm enough to proceed. The answer you seek may come later, but it will always come if you ask and listen for an answer.

Before you seek outside help, consult the wise counselor within. If you seek answers with an open heart and mind, you will always get the help you need, personalized, just for you. ~Silas
