There are many things available to you, right now, that can raise your vibration immediately.
You would likely engage in them because they are enjoyable, yet many of you have come to associate them with shame and guilt. Either you should not be doing them at all, or you should be doing something more responsible.
Laughter and smiles will give your vibration a great boost, yet you have expressions such as, "Get serious!" and "Stop fooling around." The act of "fooling around" can make you happy and happy gets you closer to Heaven on Earth.
Rest is something of which you also have a negative opinion.
"Get up, already! Stop being so lazy!" Does this sound familiar? Your body, mind and spirit need opportunities to rest and recharge. The more quality rest you get, the more productive your Earthly and Spiritual work will be.
SEX! Yes! Now we have your attention. Your religions have ruined this one for you. The state of euphoria you achieve when you have an orgasm is similar to the feeling of bliss and ultimate pleasure that many achieve through deep meditation. It is, in a sense, a few seconds of "Heaven on Earth." The most beautiful part is: You always have a willing partner, just look in the mirror.
That is why religious leaders fight to control it. If they didn't, you would believe that there were many ways to experience Divine energy and that you didn't need them at all. They tell you sex and self-love are shameful and immoral. Sacrifice now and get to Heaven later.
Yet, you are told that there will be a Heaven on Earth. "As above, so below." What kind of Heaven will you create on Earth? One of deprivation and sacrifice? Or one of joy and bliss?
The biggest sin you commit is judgement and the person you most frequently judge is you.
There is no sin in seeking joy as long as it does not harm another. Try a bit of joy today. It will not hurt, we promise. ~Silas

Take Time for Vehicle Maintenance
You may find your life hectic at times. You have no time for meditation or physical activity.
You have no time to just go off and relax or take a short nap.
"Too much to do," you say, as you pour another cup of coffee.
Most of you would agree that you are more important than your car, yet.....
Would you ignore your car's regular maintenance?
Would you leave the oil in for years without a change?
Would you constantly run it low on fuel?
Would you drive through nails or broken glass to save a few minute's time?
Of course not, and if you did, you would expect to be inconvenienced with breakdowns and mechanical failures.
You would know that it will cost you time and money that could have been saved. Inconveniences that could have been prevented.
In the aftermath of a car accident, friends and loved ones usually say, "Thank goodness you're all right!" The condition of the vehicle is a secondary concern.
You too, know that you are more important than your car. So why does this attitude change when your car is running smoothly?
Are you an "accident" waiting to happen?
Please do not be. Breathe, walk, meditate and eat healthy foods.
Keep your vehicle maintained and it will take you farther than you've ever imagined. ~Silas

Going Home
You can never run away from home. You can walk to the ends of the Earth and venture out into space and still not get away.
Home is always where you are. It lives in your heart. It is a place of rest and refuge.
So keep it clean, keep it tidy make it warm, inviting and comfortable. When you run away from home, you are running from yourself. When you are running from yourself, it is because you imagine that you do not have a safe place to rest.
Life is motion. It is a dance of light and energy. You learn the steps by jumping in and dancing. Sometimes you try too hard. You exhaust yourself and you get confused. You will not learn the dance you have to learn by always running to a different partner or a different dance hall, but you do need a break.
So sit back. Breathe. Feel your heart beating, feel your muscles ache, and rest them. When you are content and comfortable you are home. Take some time to watch the dance before jumping back in. You learn to dance by doing it, but also by watching others and noticing how the most proficient dancers move. You learn by watching the struggles of others and hopefully decide to do things differently.
Resting is learning and growth. It prepares you for more active times later, but in order to rest, you need a home to go to. The one that is with you always.
Spend some time each day within your "home". Close your eyes. Sit in silence, if only for a few minutes. Like a turtle you can then carry your home with you, pulling in even as chaos goes on around you. Finding peace wherever you are.
No need to run away. Just enjoy the dance. ~Silas

Rest vs. Laziness
As children, you are often told that you are being lazy when you sit around and do nothing. As adults, you refuse to slow down even when you are ill or tired.
Your body remains in a sluggish, tired state on a regular basis. You make plans but lack the energy and enthusiasm to carry them out.
Most of you take better care of your automobiles than your bodies.
You would not run your car's engine all day long and not expect the parts to wear or the gas to run out. You give it the best gas and the highest quality service you can afford. You drive your car as you need to, then park it in a cool garage if, possible.
Your bodies are often subjected to unnatural schedules and given cheap, inadequate fuel because it is convenient. You attempt to run them from morning until evening with no rest. Then you give your body stimulants to keep it running, when it can go no longer.
Taking a break is not laziness. It is part of the necessary maintenance of your physical vessel. Do not let the guilt or judgement of others keep you from doing what you need to do for your health and well-being.
If you take your resting periods as seriously as your work time, your energy and the quality of your work will improve, and your life will feel easy and balanced. Now put away your computer and take a break. The world will wait for you. ~Silas

The Art of Doing Nothing
You have been taught not to daydream, not to waste time, to always rush through whatever task you are attempting to do. To work too slowly, or stare into space is laziness.
What if we were to tell you that your body and spirit need down time just as much as they need food and water. You can understand this in terms of sleep, but sleep is not enough. Your body and mind need rest throughout the day. Of course, you take breaks, but you cheat on them. You are skimpy with your rest times. You work through them, you make phone calls, you watch television.
If your rest time were food, it would be a sugary coffee drink with whipped cream and a frosted pastry on the side. It looks good, but does nothing to recharge your energy.
Just as you have learned (or are trying to learn) that your body responds better when it is fed high quality food, your energy level responds to quality down time or break time.
Doing nothing, is not as simple as it looks. There is an art to getting the most out of it. Sometimes you have to work hard at doing nothing.
Let's take daydreaming, for instance. From a physical standpoint, you are doing very little. Your imagination, however, is running wild. For this period, you are allowing the ideas to surface without judgement. If you release the guilt of doing nothing, and pay attention to your thoughts, you will have many wonderful and creative things to share when you rejoin humanity.
Meditation is the ultimate in doing nothing. No movement, no judgement, release of thoughts that surface. Again, it appears unproductive, but the benefits are tremendous. In addition to releasing stress which causes many of your physical ailments, you clear your mind of the unproductive thoughts which clutter it causing confusion and distress. It's like cleaning and decluttering your home. It feels better and it's easier to find what you need.
Even a brief nap, can leave you feeling recharged, if you allow yourself to rest and forget to feel guilty about it.
So, today, goof off, loaf around, and stare blankly into space. This is not permission. This is your homework. Get to work at nothing. The sooner the better. ~ Silas
Jinnzania's side notes: I've had a long, busy week. For two nights, the insomnia has been pretty bad and the good nights I get about four to five hours of sleep. So today, I was up early and feeling guilty about the fact that I was tired and wanted to go back to sleep. I took a walk then came home and sat on the porch and started to daydream. That is why you are reading these words right now. Letting go of self doubt and mental clutter can do wonders for my receptivity. That is why I often feel rushed and overwhelmed. I need to slow down instead of speed up.
This message definitely came through for me and I imagine it will speak to others as well. So, read, enjoy, absorb, then go stare out a window. It has most likely been way too long.
