Be Shameless!

Feelings of shame are a huge barrier to self-love. 

As children you are shameless, until told otherwise. Shame is learned in order to "civilize" you. You must conform to certain standards in order to be accepted. And the common belief is that acceptance equals love.

Your most amazing creators, musicians, artists, writers and dancers had to work past that fear of acceptance in order to manifest their creations.

They shunned the opinions of others and put their whole heart and soul into their works.

Release of shame is freedom!

It allows you to get to the place of taking the big risks that lead to amazing creations.

You can continue to be "civilized" and be accepted by a large group of unhappy people, or you can be the one who inspires them to break away from the group and make miracles in their life.

As you love yourself, learn to break away from the opinions of others so that you can take the chances that lead to the life you deserve.

Today, do something, which would be viewed as a little "crazy." Hum or sing out loud, dance to the music playing on your headphones, have a conversation with a stray dog....

Breathe the free air and inspire others to follow your example. ~Silas

Believe it!

You may wonder why the Universe does not always reward you with abundance and prosperity. You do your affirmations daily, you think positive thoughts and you envision the event as though it has already happened.

So, why are you not rich, famous or living a fairy tale life?

 Is the Law of Attraction a Divine con game? Is a supreme being playing with your life like a toy?

If you create such a mean overlord in your mind, he might do just that, but it is unlikely. You already do not use the power you have to create the little things in your life. Why would you believe you are capable of conjuring an omnipotent, imaginary bully?

 

Sadly, if you look in the mirror, you will see just such a bully. 

No one will ever treat you as unkindly as you already treat yourself. No one will be as strict with you or demand so much.

You are a bit like a warlord. You supply weapons and supplies to both sides to keep the conflict going. The only difference is that the warlord is becoming rich and prosperous in the process. You are, simply, failing to get what you want.You fight the daily battle of declaring your desires to the Universe, then shaking your head and thinking silently, “If only.” 

The Universe is neither judging you, nor deciding which of the two statements is true. You get a little of both and maintain your current situation. A step forward, then a step back.

Occasionally, you get there. You manifest something amazing. You stand there holding in your hands something you had only imagined a short while ago and you say to yourself, “I can’t believe it!”

If someone were to give you a gift, would you say, “Wow! I can’t believe that you could afford this on your salary!” The person giving the gift would probably not see that as appreciation. They would not be motivated to give you any more. 

Gratitude and positive thoughts are the fuel that keeps your manifestation machine running smoothly and efficiently.

When you say you are not grateful for something, either with your words or thoughts,  the Universe is hearing, “I don’t care for that. No more of that, please,” and POOF!  Your wish is granted! There will be no more of what you are requesting.

Cultivate a habit of gratitude daily. Eliminate the phrase, “I can’t believe it!” from your vocabulary. Replace it with, “I’m amazed that…” or “I’m so grateful that….”  In fact, you can make up a list of words and phrases to replace, “I can’t believe.” 

When you make gratitude a habit, miracles will soon become a habit. This is not wishful thinking, it is inevitable. “Amazing” is your birthright. Own it. ~Silas

You Agreed to Play the Game

Why does Spirit not send me clear signs? Just tell me what to do!

This would seem like a simple request, yet you are not here to talk directly with the Divine Source as you would a friend standing next to you in three dimensional existence. Your purpose for being here is not to have all of your questions immediately answered or your every whim granted without delay.

If this were truly your desire, you would not be here. You could do this much more easily on the other side of the veil.

You were there once. Your soul wanted a challenge. You stood in the presence of the Divine and said, "I'm the one! Pick me! I am up for the task!"

You were chosen and sent here. That is the ultimate granting of a wish.

So, why let it stop there? This is what you asked for. It's time to make some magic!

You wanted to play the game, so here are the rules:

Love one another and yourself, do no harm, and bring your dreams to life on this planet.

"But, I've tried!" you insist. 

Stop trying, start playing the game.

You are not spoiled, you came here to work or you would not have been granted the privilege. Spiritual work is about creating Heaven on Earth and abundance and prosperity for all. So if you're not enjoying the experience, you still have work to do.

Imagine you are playing a mystery solving game. You are given clues to follow to resolve the mystery and get your reward. What fun would it be if the treasure were handed to you at the start? It would all be over too quickly and you would have learned nothing.

Jump in and play the game. Adventures await. Scary things might pop out and there may be stressful times, but they are only challenges added for your entertainment and growth. One day you will look back and say, "My how I have grown! Things are so much better now!"

Wherever you find yourself in life, be joyful, be appreciative and have adventures. 

Find happiness here and now. See problems as challenges that will give you knowledge and experience.

Look for signs from Spirit as clues. Follow them like birds and butterflies as you dance down the path of life.

You will learn many things and achieve many goals while you are here.

Don't rush to get to the end of the game. That will only put you on the other side, raising your hand for a chance to incarnate on Earth.

You've Got the Manifesting Blues

If you are struggling with your manifestations, it would probably trouble you to hear, that the Divine provides you with everything that you ask for.

Before you begin to swear, let us explain. 

The Divine is always standing ready to grant your requests. All of them, without fail. It is you who actually deny them.

Sometimes your focus may not be strong enough. You don't want the "thing" that badly. 

Sometimes, your ego convinces you that you want things that you cannot handle or would bring you more grief.

Your soul knows what you need in this life.  Surprisingly, your soul's needs are few, but as this life is meant to be fun, you are granted certain luxuries.
 
If something is truly not good for you, you will have trouble focusing on it. You will feel doubt and fear. You will hesitate. If you continue, you will get it, but it might not be what you want.

No, we are not playing psychological games with you. You play them with yourself. We often wonder why, but find it amusing to watch, unless you hurt yourself.

There is no difference between that which you must do in this life and that which you desire. You will always be granted the time, talents and resources to accomplish your life's purpose. 

If you want to know what you truly desire, then follow your passion. Play chase with it. Dance with it. Get to know and love it. Then bring it to life. You already have all that you need to accomplish this.

Do not work so hard on your manifestation attempts, work instead on your passion. That will lead you where you need to go.

And that is where you will find all that you are seeking now. ~Silas

Believe in Your Magic

So, you believe that there is no magic in the world, and yet here you sit.  

What do you believe are the odds of all of the energy that formed the atoms that make up the cells and organs in your body would randomly come together to form the person who it sitting in a chair now reading these words.

The odds of the Earth forming and placing itself at the perfect distance from the sun to allow the formation of life are incalculable.

You are a miracle. Every breath you take is pure magic.

Why then do you feel that you cannot affect magical change in the world around you?

As the walking miracle you are, your intentions and actions have great power.

Use that power with love and responsibility. When you wave your wand, you will get what you ask for. 

Do not allow random thoughts to dilute and hijack your magic. 

Imagine that you are sitting, wand in hand, working at your computer and sipping coffee.

As you think about what is on your computer screen, you wave your wand.

Suddenly, the room is filled with items you did not request. Things that were advertised on the side bar, negative energy from arguments and stressful things you have read; things you were trying very hard NOT to create.

That is how very powerful you are! 

So use your magic. Focus on what you want. Wave your wand via meditation, visualization, affirmations, vision boards or ceremonies. 

You are a walking miracle. You defied all odds to get here. You sit here due to countless synchronicities, that have guided your life so far.

You are not here to hide your light and be weak. You are powerful beyond your ability to imagine.

Pick up your wand and get to work. The Earth needs your magic. ~Silas

The Future Will Be There

You have many beautiful things right in front of you. We often wonder why you chose to live your life in the future.

It is all right, to plan and manifest for the future. You can even try on a future self or career when you are in the process of manifesting.

The purpose of that is to get the feeling that you already have what you wish, then it will come into your life.

Dreaming of a future and acting as though nothing you do right now matters will not get you there.

You waste a lot of time worrying about future events, that you do not do the things you need to do now to get there.

Imagine that you are preparing for a party.

You don’t just sit around dreaming about the perfect party and expect it to appear. You set the stage, clean the house, set out all the things you will need, and allow the excitement of the upcoming event to wash over you.

Preparing for a party can be fun, if you focus on the goal: an entertaining, successful event that everyone in attendance can enjoy.

You would not tell the guests to arrive in a particular order, or script the party conversation. You, simply, set the stage knowing that the party will happen.

Spontaneity is such an adventure!  Can you feel the excitement? ~Silas

Dream a Little Dream.....

Sometimes the Universe slows you down as you approach a goal you have been working to manifest. 

This is not out of cruelty, but love. 

The problems you have come from your thoughts. If your thoughts do not change, problems will persist and you will bring them into the new situation, job or relationship. 

Then, when a new love, more money or a great career comes into your life, you will think, "Perhaps this isn't what I wanted."

Trust your first instincts. If want something with all your heart, it is your birthright to have it and to enjoy it.

Don't dilute future joy with present problems. 

Resolve your emotional issues now, not when you can afford a self-help book or workshop. If those are what you need, one will fall into your hand. 

You have what you need to heal your life within you right now. Ask what needs to be released. Work through it and let go.

Move into your new life without heavy burdens.

Only then, can you create the future you've been dreaming of, and enjoy it as much as you enjoy your dreams. ~Silas

Be Grateful For What You Have; Do not Curse What You Haven’t

All of you would like to have more of the things that make you happy. It may be money, friends, love or material things. 

The Universe would like to help you achieve this.

The problem is you create confusion. 

You want more money, so you say your prosperity affirmations, you carry your pretend million dollar bill everywhere you go, you wear lots of green and visualize a larger number in your bank account.

 Then you go to pay a bill. 

“Damn it!” you say! Is that all I have? 

Your computer runs slow. 

“What a piece of garbage! I want a better one!”

Such emotion and attention you give to what you don’t want. If the majority of your energy and emotions are spent this way, guess what you will be getting more of?

Often you get angry when you hear a child whining in a store because they want candy or a new toy, but you do not hear yourself whine to the Universe.

When a child is witnessed being grateful and considerate of others, their parents are more likely to give them gifts. Strangers give them praise.

They are happy and content and get what they ask for because they continuously show gratitude for what they have. 

The next time you are tempted to complain that you lack the money for a new dress, stop and be grateful that you have enough for a cup of coffee.

When your computer runs slowly, remember the last time you were without one and be glad that it is running. 

Then the Universe hears, “I’m grateful! I like having these things!” and like a devoted parent, it will repay your gratitude with more of the things you love.

Like any good parent, the Universe wants you to be happy and well adjusted, not spoiled and unappreciative.

The Universe will always deliver first, that which you cry out for with the greatest intensity of emotion. 

Love passionately, the little things in your life. This sends a loud, clear message to the Universe:

"Thank you! May I have some more?"
