Happy Resurrection Day

On this day, whether you celebrate the life of a man with a strong Divine connection, or simply, the rebirth of the planet, the message is the same.

It is a time for renewal.

Just as a snake that has reached its maximum growth in its old skin, this time of year, you have an opportunity   to break with the old and recreate a better, stronger version of yourself.

Your soul has outgrown its current “skin,” so it is time to shed and break free of the past.

Just as in the story of this Divine man, you have accomplished all that you can in this present state.

Like the phoenix, it is time to create your nest of fire and allow the old you to be consumed.

This is not death or an ending, this is you, owning your power, growing into your greatness.

You are becoming a new and improved version of yourself. Do not fear the changes in your life, for they are part of the process.

You often look upon change with fear, but change is life, it is growth, it is personal resurrection.

On this day, remember the strong, powerful person that you were. Give thanks to your spirit for getting you this far, and embrace the even stronger and more powerful being that is preparing to arise from the ashes.

Hold your head up high. It is you who have manifested this. Well done.

Now, go, and do the great things you are destined to do. ~Silas

Believe it!

You may wonder why the Universe does not always reward you with abundance and prosperity. You do your affirmations daily, you think positive thoughts and you envision the event as though it has already happened.

So, why are you not rich, famous or living a fairy tale life?

Is the Law of Attraction a Divine con game? Is a supreme being playing with your life like a toy?

If you create such a mean overlord in your mind, he might do just that, but it is unlikely. You already do not use the power you have to create the little things in your life. Why would you believe you are capable of conjuring an omnipotent, imaginary bully?

Sadly, if you look in the mirror, you will see just such a bully.

No one will ever treat you as unkindly as you already treat yourself. No one will be as strict with you or demand so much.

You are a bit like a warlord. You supply weapons and supplies to both sides to keep the conflict going. The only difference is that the warlord is becoming rich and prosperous in the process. You are, simply, failing to get what you want. You fight the daily battle of declaring your desires to the Universe, then shaking your head and thinking silently, “If only.”

The Universe is neither judging you, nor deciding which of the two statements is true. You get a little of both and maintain your current situation. A step forward, then a step back.

Occasionally, you get there. You manifest something amazing. You stand there holding in your hands something you had only imagined a short while ago and you say to yourself, “I can’t believe it!”

If someone were to give you a gift, would you say, “Wow! I can’t believe that you could afford this on your salary!” The person giving the gift would probably not see that as appreciation. They would not be motivated to give you any more.

Gratitude and positive thoughts are the fuel that keeps your manifestation machine running smoothly and efficiently.

When you say you are not grateful for something, either with your words or thoughts,  the Universe is hearing, “I don’t care for that. No more of that, please,” and POOF!  Your wish is granted! There will be no more of what you are requesting.

Cultivate a habit of gratitude daily. Eliminate the phrase, “I can’t believe it!” from your vocabulary. Replace it with, “I’m amazed that…” or “I’m so grateful that….”  In fact, you can make up a list of words and phrases to replace, “I can’t believe.”

When you make gratitude a habit, miracles will soon become a habit. This is not wishful thinking, it is inevitable. “Amazing” is your birthright. Own it. ~Silas

Little Commitments

Changing your life is a complex business. You may find yourself stopping and starting, committing to something new, and then forgetting about it the next day.

This is in your nature. Routines and constant repetition are what will bring you success. Practicing an instrument or a new song or faithfully visualizing while repeating affirmations takes determination, but it is the best way to get there.

You resist change because you want this routine. Your current routine, or lack thereof, is comfortable and feels safe, but it is not bringing you that which you desire. Your spirit knows that routine is the key to success, so you tend to fall into routines, even unhealthy ones. Your change will ideally become a new routine. In order to get there, however, you must break with the old one.

It is the most challenging thing you can do, but the doing will change your life. Hopefully in a good way if you are making positive choices.

It takes several weeks to ingrain a new habit. This is what can be discouraging. That is a long time to be disciplined; to wake up early or turn off your television. It is a long time to spend without your favorite snacks or foods that are tasty, but not healthy.

Give yourself a smaller commitment. Try your new thing for 1 day. Commit to that day and do what you hope will become part of your life.

When you are done, celebrate. Pat yourself on the back. Then try for two days. If you don’t succeed, relax. Try again another day.

Keep adding more days to the commitment until the new habit has become a part of your life.

Then add another goal and use the same process.

Celebrate your little successes and jump back in and try again when you do not succeed.

Ask why you do not succeed on some days. They may give you the answer you need to reach your goal.

If you are alive on Earth at this time, you are among the elite of souls. Many on both sides of the veil are pushing for you.
Do not allow small setbacks to deter you. You are here to grow and achieve. Success is your birthright, prosperity is always around you.

Own your divinity, and never give up. Graduation day will be glorious. ~Silas

The Gift of the Learning Process

It can be very frustrating to watch someone who has a special talent or a natural gift. What they do seems to come effortlessly.

You ask, "Why can't it be that way for me?"

You may even look for "cheats" or "shortcuts." You try to find ways to make it happen faster or easier.

Surely, they must have an easy life being  born with such talent.

Even with short cuts, you will learn, but you will miss the gift that a learning curves provides.

You lose the gift of time, which enables you to absorb the new learning so that it does not overwhelm. You lose the gift of work, which helps you to appreciate what you have. You lose the gift of experience, a gift which has stories to tell you and important lessons that will serve you in all areas of your life.

Do not lose faith in your abilities if you find that you struggle in the beginning. Do not give up too quickly.

In the beginning you may struggle to make small gains. With perseverance, these small gains become bigger ones. With these bigger gains under your belt, you will be able to practice your new skill. You will start to feel pleasure and pride at your accomplishment.

Do not give up at this point, for the best is yet to come. Like a master artist, you now can add details to your practice, smoothing out rough edges and polishing your craft until you are performing at an expert level.

In every step of the learning process, there are delights, gifts and surprises that will enrich all parts of your life.

If you want a bouquet, you must till the soil, plant the seeds, water, fertilize, weed, nurture and harvest. Every step is important. To miss any portion of the process will lead to a dead end and destroy any chance of creating the perfect arrangement.

Those who have savant-like abilities, do not, necessarily, have it easy. They are often misunderstood and must deal with the envy and resentment of others. They don't feel special or unique and don't always understand the "fuss" about what they do naturally. Their "gift" may even seem to be a burden.

To learn, "the hard way" allows you to appreciate the new skill you are trying to acquire.

The longer it takes you to learn, the more experience you will accumulate, and the more comfortable you will be with your new ability. You will have a better understanding of your new skills and be better equipped to teach and help others develop their skills.

Whatever you want to do, enjoy every step of the learning process. Celebrate your gains and aim to improve upon them.

One day, you will wake up and realize, that you are the skilled one that others look up to with admiration. ~Silas

Don't Be Afraid to Ask

When spiritual artists create portraits of angels, fairies and guides, they are usually shown, being helpful, rescuing and giving words of comfort.

Nothing would make them happier than this, yet too often it does not happen until it is too late.

More than likely, if these artists painted your spiritual helpers as they spend most of their time, you would see them wringing their hands and shaking their heads with disappointment.

Your silly belief systems have convinced you that only those with special abilities and talents have the right to speak to these beings.

It is actually those of you who have the least (or so you believe) aptitude for psychic vision and communication that these guides wish to contact.

You do not need to hear a voice in your head, or see an angel or fairy in front of you to receive guidance and help.

Know your question or problem. Ask it. Then sit in silence. You may get an answer, a word, a vision or idea. You may see a physical sign.

Take a breath. Focus on your heart and take the action you feel guided to take.

Even mistakes lead you further down the path. Don't get frustrated if you seem to misunderstand what your guides are telling you.

It is like learning a foreign language. You cannot do it in one day. Talk to your guides daily. Ask for little things to practice this communication.

Do not assume that no one is listening because your dreams have not yet been realized.

Your requests are always answered. In most cases, the one who is not listening is you.

Gratitude and Forgiveness- The Gifts That Return to You

Most of you are familiar with the idea that gratitude can bring more good things into your life. The vibration of gratitude towards a person, object or event, will naturally attract more of the same.

Gratitude is not clinging. It does not grasp tightly to what you are grateful for. It is actually a release. Like putting down a beloved pet with complete faith that it will come back to you.

This allows more good things to flow into your life as you have not clogged up your energy by clinging desperately to what you have.

People will come into your life and do good things, bring joy and happiness and teach you from a place of love. Be grateful for them. Honor what they have done and do not look to them to supply all of your needs. They may remain in your life, or they may go with love and new people will bring fresh energy, love and healing your way.

Conversely, some people will treat you badly. If you want them to stay, continue to dwell on all of the mean things they have done to you. They have, after all, done you a service. They have shown you who you are not. They have pushed you, through fear and intimidation, out of your comfort zone. They have given you an opportunity to learn skills that will serve you in the future.

The opposite of gratitude is forgiveness. It is not asking for more of the same. It is breaking the tie that keeps them in your life treating you badly. When you release them, you leave a void. Like all voids, it wants to be filled.

When you need someone to stop hurting you or you need to stop dwelling on past pain, think of the person or persons involved. Think about what you have learned. Be grateful for this lesson, and do not cling to them as teachers. Release them with love and the next situation will bring more love and goodness into your life.

You do not deserve and should never tolerate abuse of any kind. Once you have discovered the source of it. Let go and be done with it. You have better things on the way. Make room. ~Silas

Flawed to Fabulous!

We would not encourage you to spend much time with those who only point out your flaws.

We would, however, ask you not to dismiss their words completely.

When you discover where you are weak, you can invent, create and find new ways of doing things and become an even better version of yourself.

If you find that spoken words do not come easily, you might focus on writing, or art. Find a beautiful way to express what is in your heart. This is why you have incarnated on this planet.

You are often inspired by those with physical challenges who go on to do great things. If they can, so can you. You have your own unique set of gifts and what you perceive as flaws. By embracing your gifts and working around your flaws, you will bring about an amazing capacity for creation.

No one else has exactly your set of gifts and challenges. Only you can bring your magic to this world.

Why not start today? We would love to help you. ~Silas
