When life hands you lemons, why stop at lemonade?
Smell the lemons, juggle them, make pink lemonade, lemon chiffon, lemon tarts, lemon meringue, and lemon drops.
The amazing tart taste that is so unique is a combination of the lemons' sourness and the added sweetness you bring to them.
When life brings you a sour situation, take the opportunity to create a little tartness in your life.
What can this challenge teach me? How will it help me grow? How will I overcome it and become stronger and more resilient?
Become such a gifted creator of lemon cuisine that you will not experience the "sour" parts of life. Only opportunities to make it a "tart," unique and grand expression of your soul.
Drink up! ~Silas

Re-Writing the Story
You have vivid imaginations, capable of amazing visions.
What would happen if you used this vision to create beauty and love instead of fear and hate?
When you see a person who makes you fearful, what is the source of that fear?
Did this person actually hurt you? Then your fear is valid.
Did someone who looked like them hurt someone who looked like you? Do they belong to a group that did something to harm another person? Are they just so different that you don't have an opinion to form, but you create a fear-based one and view them as a threat?
The man covered in menacing tattoos may be a doctor who saves lives. The standoffish young woman may have been recently assaulted and has not yet learned to trust. The person whose skin is of a different color than yours may be somebody's mother, brother, child or the best friend they ever had.
If you don't know someone's story, and can't make up a positive one, then don't make up one at all. Better yet, get to know the person and create a whole new chapter.
Changing the world is not as hard as you think. But it does mean working hard to change your thinking. ~Silas

Changing Into Yourself
Sometimes when you change, you do not become a different person. You become the person you really are.
That person that you have hidden from others. That person that you have been suppressing to do your job or find the right relationship.
Spend time with yourself every day. Learn to be who you are and when you find yourself suppressing your personality around others, seek out those who allow the "real you" to come out.
You will have people in your life for whom you must "tone it down," just a little. Don't discount them all as they may have something to share and enhance your life. Just don't define yourself by those relationships.
Take some time to experience the wild, untamed, joyful and passionate you, uncensored and without boundaries. If you do this often enough, you will always be able to come back to that place no matter what the world throws at you.
Enjoy yourself! Earth is an amazing playground! ~Silas

The Gift of Change
Too often you mistake attachment for love, or appreciation.
You attach to a person, a job, a situation or even a worn article of clothing.
If your life is perfect as it is and cannot possibly get any better, then, by all means, hold on to everything.
Of course, life on Earth is not designed that way. You are here to learn, grow and play.
All three of these things involve change and release.
To learn, is to add new information and leave behind old, outdated ideas.
To grow is to stretch yourself, physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. The change here is obvious and again, may mean leaving old thought patterns and behaviors behind.
To play is to explore, to delight in the world around you. To squeal at surprises and dance to the music of life. To play is to celebrate and enjoy the changes around you, and if you do it often enough, it inevitably leads to learning and growth.
Change is not the enemy. Change is the Angel, who holds a miracle in her hands. Her gift to you, if you choose to accept it.
Do you? ~Silas

Breaking Through
Have you been working to manifest a change in your life
situation, only to be barraged with setbacks and problems?
Perhaps Spirit is not being cruel but showing you mercy.
Is your energy vibrating in harmony with what you want? If
it isn't then you will likely encounter the same problems that you are having
now.
Spirit may want you to resolve them before moving on. You
might even find things harder when you decide to make the shift. Spirit is
simply, speeding up the process at your request.
Look deeper when you wish to break from your pouting.
What issues have you not yet dealt with?
Like a butterfly trapped in a cocoon that is too small, or a
snake that is preparing to shed its skin, you may find change to be
uncomfortable until you break through your limitations and find a place where
you can be free to be the transformed being you desire.
Don't give up hope. Know that struggles are a sign that
things are working out. Look at them as things to be resolved rather than
sabotage.
Is your ego screaming, "No! No! It's not true!" as
you read that last sentence? Then you are on the right track. Keep going.

Life is Change
When you decide to change something in your life, prepare
for a challenge.
That is not to discourage you, but rather to inform. Any
good worthwhile change, will have a challenge attached to it. The trick is not
to give up when you are challenged, believing that you have reached an impasse.
If all things in life were easy, you would do the right
thing immediately. Change is difficult. It is also the way life works.
You can look at your life and see what is not working and make a change, or you can wait until it becomes impossible to continue the
way you have been and Life will force your hand.
Either way, the change is made, but if you make it yourself,
then you get to control it. You will decide how fast and how far you will go.
You can power through the difficulties, or take a slow and more comfortable
pace.
Lasting change for the better takes time. Have faith in your
decisions and do not let the doubts of others dissuade you.
You may be wrong. You may try to make a change and find that
it is not in your best interest.
You are allowed to be wrong. Trying something new comes with
that risk. Learn to let go of ego, hold up your head and say, "Yes, I was
wrong. I will try something else now."
Do not give your power away to the opinions of others.
A baby will make hundreds of mistakes before learning to
walk, but if he gave up, he would be doomed to a life of immobility. His
freedom and choices would be limited.
As will it be for you, if you go through your life with the
idea of surviving rather than succeeding.
You did not come to Earth to lead a life of mediocrity. You
are a star that fell from the heavens to shine its unique light upon the
planet.
Decide how you want to shine that light, then take a step,
no matter how small, to make it happen.
The hard steps are always the first ones. As you train your
muscles, the next ones will be easier.
Soon, your new routine will be change, and you will find
yourself living the life of your dreams, or at least, walking down a pleasant
path to get there. ~Silas

Happy Resurrection Day
On this day, whether you celebrate the life of a man with a
strong Divine connection, or simply, the rebirth of the planet, the message is
the same.
It is a time for renewal.
Just as a snake that has reached its maximum growth in its
old skin, this time of year, you have an opportunity to break with the old and recreate a better,
stronger version of yourself.
Your soul has outgrown its current “skin,” so it is time to
shed and break free of the past.
Just as in the story of this Divine man, you have
accomplished all that you can in this present state.
Like the phoenix, it is time to create your nest of fire and
allow the old you to be consumed.
This is not death or an ending, this is you, owning your
power, growing into your greatness.
You are becoming a new and improved version of yourself. Do
not fear the changes in your life, for they are part of the process.
You often look upon change with fear, but change is life, it
is growth, it is personal resurrection.
On this day, remember the strong, powerful person that you
were. Give thanks to your spirit for getting you this far, and embrace the even
stronger and more powerful being that is preparing to arise from the ashes.
Hold your head up high. It is you who have manifested this.
Well done.
Now, go, and do the great things you are destined to do.

Little Commitments
Changing your life is a complex business. You may find
yourself stopping and starting, committing to something new, and then
forgetting about it the next day.
This is in your nature. Routines and constant repetition are
what will bring you success. Practicing an instrument or a new song or
faithfully visualizing while repeating affirmations takes determination, but it
is the best way to get there.
You resist change because you want this routine. Your
current routine, or lack thereof, is comfortable and feels safe, but it is not
bringing you that which you desire. Your spirit knows that routine is the key
to success, so you tend to fall into routines, even unhealthy ones. Your change
will ideally become a new routine. In order to get there, however, you must
break with the old one.
It is the most challenging thing you can do, but the doing
will change your life. Hopefully in a good way if you are making positive
choices.
It takes several weeks to ingrain a new habit. This is what
can be discouraging. That is a long time to be disciplined; to wake up early or
turn off your television. It is a long time to spend without your favorite
snacks or foods that are tasty, but not healthy.
Give yourself a smaller commitment. Try your new thing for 1
day. Commit to that day and do what you hope will become part of your life.
When you are done, celebrate. Pat yourself on the back. Then
try for two days. If you don’t succeed, relax. Try again another day.
Keep adding more days to the commitment until the new habit has
become a part of your life.
Then add another goal and use the same process.
Celebrate
your little successes and jump back in and try again when you do not succeed.
Ask why you do not succeed on some days. They may give you
the answer you need to reach your goal.
If you are alive on Earth at this time, you are among the
elite of souls. Many on both sides of the veil are pushing for you.
Do not allow small setbacks to deter you. You are here to
grow and achieve. Success is your birthright, prosperity is always around you.
Own your divinity, and never give up. Graduation day will be
glorious. ~Silas
